(You) Not showing up at all times when quoted / No notification of new replies in tab icon/favicon(?) #570

EDIT (Feb 17TH 6:07 est): I haven't had this occur for a while, but now it's happening again, in addition, the 4chan logo glowing when there's a new response and with a ! when you are quoted in the tab space isn't showing, it's staying unlit even if you are quoted or there's a new post in a thread.

i. Open a thread, go to a different tab, and wait. Check back once there are new posts and quotes. The (You)s not showing up is not consistent ii: See attached image. iii: Google chrome version 32.0.1700.107 m , appchan x version 2.8.12 iiiv: Mediafire is acting up so I can't upload this.

I'm having the same issue too, the ! never shows up in the favicon when I get quoted.

...in fact, this started to happen roughly around the time I upgraded Greasemonkey from 1.14, I might try downgrading. Any more info and I can edit it into this comment if people ask. :smile:

Sorry about not responding to this for so long. I'm looking into it but the issue is not entirely that obvious (as per usual when the code sometimes works)

(you) is working for me. I haven't had it not work in 1.9.3.

Notifications are being weird and I've had midterms this week, so...

(You) is currently working for me too, in 1.9.3. The favicon notification for "you being quoted" still doesn't work, but if that has to wait, then it has to wait.

On to 1.9.9 and (You) still isn't working on my end. Is this still the case for others? Is there any idea as to what the underlying issue might be?

Also, some threads occasionally bug out and have the favicon still stay lit and have a non-zero number of "unread" posts even when you've fully scrolled through the page. When a thread exhibits the behaviour, it's reproducible by refreshing the page or reloading the browser; but I can't seem to work out exactly what it is about the threads that cause it.
