Header keeps resetting itself on refresh #920

On Palemoon 25.3.1

I don't use the header at all, though I wouldn't mind it if it didn't occupy important space. I've tried hiding the header or moving it to the bottom of the page, since it overlaps the backlinks of whatever post I view. Either unchecking "Fixed header" or erasing all code in the Custom Board Navigation works - until I refresh the window or open a different thread, and then it not only goes back to Fixed, but all the default board links get refreshed too. Note that "Bottom header" and "Auto-hide header" options don't do anything, and "Auto-hide header on scroll" doesn't do anything either and I can't uncheck it once it's checked - only by refreshing the site.

Note that Palemoon has been doing some stupid shit to me in the past with other javascript elements (actually that's why I came to appchan), so I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to be its fault either.

Palemoon support is kinda in an icky place. I've done minimal work to get it to "work" in palemoon, but I don't really do much bugtesting and the like on it because of how far behind stable firefox it is (at this moment, being 13 "versions" behind, or about a year and a half).

Okay, I somehow got the header working by deleting the webappsstore file, but still, any ideas how did this happen (since it will probably happen again)? Could there be some clutter building up in the file automatically by just browsing 4chan, up to a point where the browser stops reading/writing over some of the settings for some godforsaken reason?
