maast for fungi #28

Dear all,

I am evaluating possibilities for genotyping hundreds of fungal genomes and came across the Maast paper. Would you see any particular problem in applying Maast to fungal or eukaryotic genomes in general? (I guess apart from size)

Maast does not have functionality for phased diploid genomes, but otherwise it should be OK to try with fungal genomes. Let us know if it works and any issues you encounter!
