AIFF import does not successfully import 100% of AIFF files. #2

Allow AIFF import on files lacking the .aif[f] extension.

Some AIFF files cannot be read at all.

Some AIFF files import with extremely loud amplitudes, and this mutes playback 
somehow. (Possibly very large values of DC offset?)
