Shared Folders / Google Drive Interaction #217

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
User/computer 1 = Creator
User/computer 2 = Consumer
1. Save service request in folder within Google Drive on User 1 with Computer 1.
2. Share Google Drive folder with User 2.
3. Open User 2's Drive account and confirm folder is shared from User 1 with
service inside.
4. On Computer 2, open Advanced Rest Client and make sure connection is made
through settings for gmail account.
5. User 2 clicks "saved" tab and then clicks "Open from Google Drive"
6. Services are listed, but are unable to open properly.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected: Opening shared service requests would open the shared rest file from
Google Drive.
Actual: Error

On what operating system, browser and browser version?
Windows 7 Enterprise, Chrome Version 30.0.1599.101 m

Please provide any additional information below.
This functionality works for user 1 on computer 1 perfectly. It is also
possible for user 2 to open the shared rest files directly through Google
drive, but not through the advanced rest client.

Thanks!

It looks like a recent update to google drive has now completly broken the
drive integration

we can no longer open any of our saved scripts

Could you be more specific on the update to Google Drive you are referring to?

Sorry this was a misunderstanding on my part as we saw a small change in how
drive was working at the same time that the client connection stopped working

However we are still unable to open any scripts that are stored in google
drive, either by trying to open from within the app or from within gdrive we
get a redirect to about:blank. Is there any debugging i can turn on to help
diagnose this issue?
