What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.click on any channels and it will come out "Force Quit /or Wait"
2.tested with the integrated player and vlc, both freeze the program

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
the video should start. Program freeze.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
sopcast 0.8.5, Debian Squeeze 6.0.5(amd64)

I have installed the same sopcast-player on another debian squeeze(64 bit) and
it work perfectly fine.i use the following as my source:
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/jason-scheunemann/ppa/ubuntu maverick main
it is a great program, hope to make it work for both my machines. thanks
