Presently changing the color of the built-in crosshair is supported internally and can be done via manual config file editing, but there is no way to do this in app.
Possible implementations:
A color-picker GUI. This would likely be a lot of dependency bloat to do easily, or a lot of effort to do with what I've got (just winit).
A text input popup where you can type a hexadecimal color code. This would be terrible UX, but would be pretty cheap to implement.
