I often find myself wanting to clear an erroneous command I've typed for a selected aircraft, and I use the escape key to do so. However, this isn't 100% ideal, because before re-typing the command correctly, I have to re-select tha aircraft via the PgUp key.
I propose that if more exists in the command bar than just a callsign (eg. you have begun typing commands), pressing escape clears everything other than the callsign. And if there is only the callsign in the command bar, pressing escape will clear that as well.
