I have to check this:

  • [ ] License: Does the repository contain a plain-text LICENSE file with the contents of an OSI approved software license?

You have a license file, but not with the contents of an OSI approved software license.

You have MIT in the description file, but this is not enough:

Not acceptable: A phrase such as 'MIT license' in a README file

Maybe just copy paste the MIT text to your license file.
