what SSL certificates are accepted by the notification system? #125

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Read https://developers.google.com/glass/subscription-proxy
2. Scratch your head when you come to "valid SSL certificate"
3. Wonder what exactly that means.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected a list of approved cert signers, e.g. the list that Google Chrome 
uses, for example. Or an indication of whether a self-signed certificate is 
acceptable. Is a cert signed by http://www.cacert.org/ a "valid SSL 
certificate"?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Brain 1.0.

I'll dig up that list, but just to clarify the most pressing point: self signed 
certificates are not accepted.

According to the G+ Glass Developer community, they are accepted at the moment. 
Any progress on getting that list and incorporating it (at least by reference) 
into the documentation?

It's nice to hear that self signed ones have started working :)

I'm continuing work on this. I'll fix the issue with a link once the issue is 
resolved.

Any update on this? Still no list of "valid SSL certificate" to be seen.
