noob question: does this write macro the onboard memory

Hi, only realised after paying so much for this keyboard.
Is there a way to write macro to the onboard memory so that it works without software? Any pointers appreciated.

Hi, no keyboard-center is not capable of writing into the onboard memory, actually one of the first things it does is to switch to driver mode in order to disable the internal memory.

The reasons for that are:

• way easier to implement as not all supported keyboards have that feature
• there are essentially no resources available online on how to write to the internal memory of the keyboard (requiring very time consuming reverse engineering)
• risk of bricking the keyboard by sending invalid / broken data (which will happen as I have no documentation from Logitech whatsoever)

So this is probably not going to happen I am afraid.
