Problems running example in documentation #36

In the documentation at doc/MEGAlib.pdf, I am having problems running the example in section 12.1.3. (I am new to MEGAlib, so I might make some dumb mistakes...)

First, in section 12.1.3.1, when I try to run GMega sgeo/UseCase1.src, the command cannot be found. I assume that the command I am supposed to use is geomega, otherwise I may have a problem with my installation.

Second, the example references a file called UseCase1.src. This file does not exist in the repository and no other file with the .src extension is referenced in the documentation or exists elsewhere in the repository. If this file was removed during development, where can I find an old copy? Otherwise, what file does it refer to?

Third, in section 12.1.3.2, the command is cut off and the file UseCase1.fits is referenced, but does not exist anywhere in the repository. What is the full command, and where do I find UseCase1.fits?

Thanks for your help!

Hi,

OK. The guide is a bit outdated. GMega has been removed. Please see the quick start guide here (I just updated it, thus you might need to refresh your browser window if you looked at it recently): http://megalibtoolkit.com/documentation.html

Cheers, Andreas

Thanks! I looked at the updated documentation and was able to run all of the examples. Thanks again!
