Command key can't be Ctrl key in Windows 7 #35

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install UAWKS and enable expert mode.
2. Verify that the Command (Apple) key is set to be the Ctrl key.
3. Press Command L, which should take you to the location bar of your
browser, but instead locks Windows.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
To be taken to the location bad, instead Windows went into lock mode.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
2008.09.17, Windows 7

Please provide any additional information below.

As far as I can tell, this is a problem with AutoHotKeys and Windows 7...
Windows 7
intercepts the windows key before it gets to AHK for security reasons. If
anyone knows
a workaround, please share it here.

toibelu, so would this mean any function requiring the Command to work as
Control in Windows 7 won't work?
I.e. command + c for Copy, command + v for paste etc.

It's working for me, but I'm using a custom script. Will look into this.
