Hey, by using your lib i also stumbled across the nested commands problem (cache clean etc.)

I hope you may consider this PR which resolves #32.

@stevenmyhre i recommend a change to npm for version management of your packages, for many reasons (e.g. shrinkwrap) it is the better choice.
