Settings are reset after a short time #2

In Visual Studio 2017, the settings of this extension are reset after a short while. This can be anything from 1 second to a few minutes. I have three instances of Visual Studio 2017 (15.3 preview 4) open at the moment. Then I re-import my saved settings again and it doesn't take long until they're changed to their defaults again. This never happened with Visual Studio 2015.

Update: Or maybe it's not the defaults but something else randomly.

Haven't seen this in a while anymore. Maybe Visual Studio was broken and then fixed. They had such issues, too.

This also affects other extensions like Trailing Whitespace Visualizer losing its set colour (default is red, my choice is yellow, now it's red again on one machine, with a bunch of core settings reset lately). Closing this issue because it likely isn't Indent Guide's fault but rather Visual Studio providing an unreliable environment for user settings.
