Bug in Firefox #345

Bug with (Herbarium) images not loading in Firefox... It seems to have gotten worse with the latest Firefox build. I can get about 2-3 images before it goes to a missing image icon or an all-black image.

I started using a portable Opera build and it works perfectly on the same machine so it's almost definitely a Firefox bug. One detail is that it happens far more often on my work machine which uses a proxy config. URL but of course Opera is using the same string.

I just did 4 in a row and I can't recreate this. FireFox 32.0. Mac OS 10.4.9

Debugged for a few minutes, After about dozen skipped subjects on Firefox 31, I saw a loading spinner. I never saw a missing image icon. I upgraded to Firefox 32 I throttle my connection to dialup speeds , I saw loading spinner, but never the missing image icon.

Calling this too sporadic for us to further deal with.

That is fine, but I wondering if this could be an operating system issue.
