Suggestion from science team to do (subtle) color-coding of the different annotation types. What do you think. Just enough to make busy images a bit easier. Sounds nice but only if it's not too hard to do.

Pretty simple, so I just deployed it. I like it.

@heathv, feel free to define some better colors.
