sometimes one of these won't be working and it's annoying and you don't want to fix it right now but you don't want to make the system choke either and you also don't want to delete it. it'd be nice to just pause it and go about your day

Would be extremely useful to be able to pause a highly configured real/production reducer while still running other test/mock ones.
