Old comments don't always show up (but they do after posting your own comment) #79

This seems to be a very old issue but there was no one confirming to me it really happens! I saw many users posting questions about something which has been already answered in comments below (including questions from other moderators who do always read old comments before posting a new one). This time someone complained that the old comments weren't there before posting the question which corresponds to/confirms my apprehensions.

Are you able to figure out what could be causing it?

Talk is actually a separate code base from the code bases of our projects. I'm going to close this here, but you can open a ticket for the Talk repo. Just so you are aware, though, it probably won't be fixed for a while or possibly not at all since we're in the midst of a rebuild of Talk entirely.

Well, let's wait for the new version and hope it won't be a problem there:) May I ask when is the new version about to be released? (Is it in years, or months or..?)

I don't what the concrete deadline is, as I'm only a part of bits of the development process as needed, however, it definitely won't be years! It'll be months if not sooner.
