What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Select 'Dock' from the list of sources
2. Select the "Screen Edge Position" feature and the 'Top' position option from
the list of supported choices
3. Once selected, follow the "You may need to quit to see changes" call for
action (red font) note by clicking the "Quit This" function
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
EXPECTED - For the 'Dock' to appear on the top of the user window (on the
'desktop' space, below the top toolbar) as "Top' would indicate (based on the
inclusion of the 'Bottom', 'Left' and 'Right' other potential directional
location choices), well, the freaking "Top" of the Desktop window; INSTEAD -
Same functionality (position/location) as the selection of the 'Bottom'
appearance location (on the 'Bottom' of the Desktop window, one of the default
options outside of 'Secrets' altogether)
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
VERSION - Still unable to find a "Version" denotation on the "System
Preferences" UI as well as the https external UI URL via the 'Help' ('?' mark)
button; OPERATING SYSTEM - Mac OS X (Version 10.8.5)
Please provide any additional information below.
Why have I never seen a user comment on this failed function ever before? This
has been an issue for me since it first rolled out like YEARS ago and I have
just been to lazy to say something until now. If it can't work, build it out
of the code. If it's feasible, FIX IT. Every time I use 'Secrets' and see the
option for the function there, I say to myself, "Oh I bet it's been updated by
NOW," but alas, as per the status quo, NOTHING. Not sure why this is still in
there (unless it's my end, which I've checked x1000 and can't find any
limitations on my system - MacBook Pro 2011, OS X 10.8.5)
