In Firefox, I get the webpage icon, though with "Web Page" in the label instead of "PDF". If I try to save it, it fails with Downloaded PDF did not have MIME type 'application/pdf' in Attachments.importFromURL() after receiving a Mason webpage.
I get an IEEE Explorer translator in Firefox. Reset translators?
In Chrome, I get the IEEE Xplore translator (why the difference?) and can save metadata, but it hangs trying to save the PDF and pops up the open/save dialog in Zotero. (This is presumably a zotero/zotero problem.)
Cannot reproduce. Saves the attachment properly for me. Weird profile issues?

Oh it's broken on macOS.
I get problem 2. also, except that when I try to save to pdf I do not get the open/save dialog reported by @dstillman but instead the saving of the pdf simply fails quietly, as described in issue #136 . I have submitted debug ID D411392482
A couple problems trying to save this PDF:
