Account Hacked #178

Account was hacked after I put user and password for first time using Zotify. I just downloaded zotify and when I used it, it kept saying bad credentials when I put in correct email and password and now an hour later the password has changed on spotify for everyone using it and the email as well. I have not used any other third party software just Zotify during this time.

Spotify has stopped allowing user/password logins, so this and other third party apps that use librespot are not working. Spotify probably flagged the failed login attempts your account and reset your password

@thekelvman when did they stop allowing user/password logins? And it there an other way to create a session?

I can confirm they just steal your credentials. Seems like it used to be legit but I'm too late. They changed my password this morning before I was even awake lol. I saw it coming as soon as I clicked zotify.exe and asked for my credentials and it just ran a bunch of code super fast and disappeared. I was like fuck I feel like the old lady in the beekeeper right now.

I scanned the code for URL's and IP's and nothing stuck out as nefarious. If they're relaying creds back, they've done an excellent job of hiding it.
