SUSE's package ftp-proxy
(also available on Debian) can handle active-passive transparent proxying, which sounds like a perfect problem solver for our router container
apparently i got @-spammed by a bot on this thread but i want you to know that it looks like a very cool project and i hope you find time to work on it again!
Active FTP not working any more with current slirp4netns since they disabled it for security reasons. On the other hand many home ISPs have broken FTP NAT, too.
Should we have an option to tunnel FTP to somewhere so that existing public Internet FTPs could be accessed? Or provide a patched slirp4netns?
