Backup #161

i have only one domain and it takes like 15 backup daily from it and cause the ram goes high from the zip and make the server halt i need a fix to take only one backup per day please i am using zpanel 10.1.1 and centos os 6.5 X64

I can confirm that this is a bug. Running 10.1.1 on CentOS.

Additionally, something is going on with backups that causes /var/zpanel/temp to fill up with temp backup files that don't get deleted.

I confirum. Ubuntu 12.04 also issued.

I had to create my own backup script for my server as ZPanel's way of doing backups made my server go a bit bananas :banana:

@jacobg830 Zpanel backup don't backup zpanel setting too so you will always need another solution for that.

I habe the same problem. It's really important. And another, when is running the mysqldump, all databases are locked. It mades all my webpages unaccesible. It needs a fix.

Can anyone please let me know the solutions? I am also facing the same issue 3 backups in a day ;(

Thanks for sharing. But I currently used another backup software i.e CloudBacko pro. Its provides free space on Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox into a single large storage. Through CloudBacko pro it is very easy to restore the data. I also try to use Comodo Backup. Keep updating.
