When converting a show in SHN format, the program appears to be non-responsive for a time before the progress bar appears. #5

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Add a show to the queue containing SHN files
2. Hit "Add to iTunes"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The progress bar should appear immediately, but instead the GUI becomes 
unresponsive
for a minute or two before it appears.

The GUI becomes unresponsive again upon canceling the conversion, and stays 
that way for longer than I was willing to wait before killing the process.
