Scroll lag on welcome screen #28

Jamin noticed that there is a 1 second (or so) lag when you first try to scroll the site on an iPad.

I haven't attempted anything with that yet, but have you come across that issue before?

No...I haven't run into that before so I don't have a solution off the top of my head.

This is fixed on my iOS emulator.
