Enhancement - Individual encoding settings for a folder or a file.

(I apologize if here is not the place to put enhancements, but I could not 
find any option to do so...)

My suggestion is to have a text file with the same name as the media 
file/folder (and possibly a dedicated extension - like .PS3) which would 
contain particular settings to transcode that file/folder, like encoder, 
A/V Sync, Deinterlace, Scaling, Subtitles, etc... It would be also a sure 
way to force a file to be transcoded (currently I am using a fake .SRT 
file to force Mencoder to transcode - some files should play on PS3 but 
don't)

There are "Video Settings" (dynamic options) and "Trancoded" virtual folders 
for that 
purpose.. don't really want to add extreme configuration capabilities (like 
mediatomb), even if some people like that
