acknowledged.. I think you can fix this while setting a value of 384 for AC
bitrate
(rather than 640)

I also noticed that...384 is my default...still those microcuts (I'm using 2
channels
if that even matters)

I'm using 640 kbs 5.1.
Normal voices works fine, but when sound is low ... there are microcuts.

I've been testing 192 ac3 bitrate all week...mostly watching Tv shows...and had
no
problems...although it could be just a coincidence...I will test it more next
week. A
quick question..Why does the bitrate matters in this case ??? It seems to me
its some
kind of weird noise reduction filter....I dont know...just thinking out loud...

Issue 411 has been merged into this issue.

I am experiencing this issue in the latest build, 1.23.0
I have tried changing the AC3 bitrate to 256 (I'm using 5.1) and it did not
help.
Is there anything I can provide to help you isolate the problem (debug log,
etc.)?
Thank you.

This seems to be happening again in PMS 1.50.1. Was this accidentally reverted?
