Explain better how the feature is supposed to work? #124

Not everybody will read the original thread on the zsh mailing list. It would be nice if someone could explain how it works, perhaps using https://asciinema.org or just a screen recording.

I wanted to try it out, but as far as I can tell, all it does is breaks ^r, and when I press up and down it causes the current matching history entry to blink red and purple? 😵‍💫
