See how to configure the directory (cache directory?) where the downloaded JARs are stored.

As well add a note on using Amazon Corretto distribution as the easy way to install JDK 8 with JavaFX: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/corretto/latest/corretto-8-ug/downloads-list.html.

Build and release DEB archive, windows package, and macOS, and verify on the "fresh" install (over AWS) that it is self-sufficient and works as expected.
