Limit number of a single product on customer can buy #184

Shopify provides some instructions that involve jquery and the theme file and what not. If you can glance to see what best route forward is, that'd be awesome. We had a guy run off with 5 copies of the clear Sufjan, and in cases like that just can't have it. too many disappointed VIPs missed out (some of our best twitter members, etc.)

Hmmm. Not sure what to think about this.

Not sure what to think in terms of the business side of things as in whether or not we should limit people ordering in batches? or not sure what to think as in terms of shopify's recommended implementation? regarding first one, it's a case by case - in the case of sufjan, it's a total definite, people shouldn't be buying 2+ copies of one item that is the highest demand item we've ever carried (most good for the most people). on the other hand, godspeed, i wouldn't have give a shit if someone bought the entire batch of 50... as we grow, this kind of thing is going to be critical because of spammers and resellers - literally people will buy exclusive from us and resell.
