This is the ticket and link that explains an approach to GA implementation. Seems like Shopify makes this pretty doable even in checkout by doing something with the links / URLs. The most important thing we need to to do is track email conversion with an event/goal and track purchase items with an event/goal. let's talk through more.

Ok I did a few things:

• Implemented product rev tracking
• Enabled enhanced ecommerce features
• Set up a checkout conversion funnel
• Tracked email conversion events

There's a lot more we need to do, but it's a start.
