Maybe integrate weather maps from OpenWeatherMap (https://openweathermap.org/api/weathermaps). There are some interesting weather layers (Clouds, Precipitation, Sea level pressure, Wind speed, Temperature) and compatible with OpenLayers. Free up to 60 calls/minute and 1,000,000 calls/month.

Another and simpler solution would be to integrate Wetter-Alarm. Wetter-Alarm is a Swiss weather app that is officially supported by many building insurance companies. With a GET request to the following URLs, weather alarms and a weather map (as GeoJSON) can be called up. Everything should be free so far.
