FR: Graphics Tablet Zoom (i. e. Ctrl+MMB) #1260

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Pressing Ctrl and mouse wheel to zoom in and out is a valid way. However, I am missing a way to use my graphics tablet to quickly zoom in and out - I have to use the mouse to do that. Navigating the canvas with the tablet is done with middle mouse button (MMB), so it would be a small yet invaluable usability improvement if Ctrl+MMB performs a zoom in/out action as well. (Or guide me in the right direction in case I missed something).

Does this setting under Display not help? Mouse wheel to zoom by default.

For my Huion I configured buttons on the tablet to keyboards shortcuts, and I have one for zooming in and the other for zooming out. (Ctrl+, Ctrl-)

Hi Zsolt

The setting is enabled in my setup. However, it is not a workaround per se

it still involves switching back and forth constantly between different input devices (keyboard, trackpad, tablet). My Wacom Intuos One does not have hardware buttons unfortunately, so l can't map keys arbitrarily. Ctrl+MMB (Blender, Gimp etc.) wouId increase usability/fluidity/speed anyways compared to clicking buttons tens of times from my point of view - no matter on which device they are located (as long as there is no mouse wheel available of course).
