Your environment SYSTEM INFO: Obsidian version: v1.5.12 Installer version: v1.5.12 Operating system: Windows 10 Pro 10.0.19045 Login status: not logged in Insider build toggle: off Live preview: on Base theme: dark Community theme: ITS Theme v1.2.44 Snippets enabled: 0 Restricted mode: off Plugins installed: 6 Plugins enabled: 6 1: Better Word Count v0.10.1 2: Better footnote v1.0.1 3: Folder notes v1.7.22 4: Various Complements v10.0.0 5: Style Settings v1.0.8 6: Excalidraw v2.2.3

Describe the bug When I add new images to any excalidraw board from any source, I get this error.

To Reproduce Copy and paste images Dragging and dropping images (of any size in both cases)

Screenshots image Additional context I already tested new and old boards, the excalidraw plugin I have it updated, the bug started out of nowhere, it was not after any update. It started 2-3 days ago.

You are copying and dragging and dropping from Obsidian or your Operating System? I tested both on my devices, it all seems to work.

Have you tested if the error occurs when you switch off other plugins (and restart Obsidian)?

I have only been doing it from the web browser to obsidian and from my operating system to Obsidian, neither works.

I just tried what you suggest about plugins but it still gives the same problem. A few days before I modified the names of the vault folders from the operating system, could that have any relation? In other vaults it works without problem

If I use the “Insert ANY file” option it works without problem.

Changing folder and file names outside Obsidian is not a good idea as in that case Obsidian will not update links and you run the risk of broken links all over the place. But that does not explain the error you are getting.

Can you take a look at the Developer Console to see if there are any error messages we can work from. Press CTRL+SHIFT+i and click the console tab at the top. Then perform a copy/paste to see what errors / messages are logged. Send me a screenshot.
