Question/opinion: How can I resize elements and modify elements of BoaP projects? #1915

Hi, I have downloaded one of the files offered for free from your profile at https://ko-fi.com/zsolt/shop. I have loaded it into Obsidian-Excalidraw and converted it to excalidraw.md. The problem is that I can't resize any of the elements. The only thing that can be resized are the texts.

I have tried to do the same in the web of https://excalidraw.com and if you can resize any element without problem.

Describe the bug With the Excalidraw plugin I cannot resize the elements of the projects shared by Zsolt here https://ko-fi.com/zsolt/shop.

On the excalidraw.com website I can resize any element.

I have tried to load the project in excalidraw.com and then copy all the elements to obsidian with the excalidraw-plugin and I can't resize any element except for the texts.

To Reproduce

  1. Download a file from https://ko-fi.com/zsolt/shop
  2. I moved the file to my obsidian.
  3. Convert the file from excalidraw to excalidraw.md
  4. I open the file inside obsidian, I can see the whole project image and strokes.
  5. I try to resize any element and I can't change the sizes, only the text elements are resizable.

Another test.

  1. I downloaded a file from https://ko-fi.com/zsolt/shop
  2. I opened the file with excalidraw.com
  3. Press CTRL+A to select all elements and then CTRL+C to copy.
  4. In Obsidian I open an empty project and paste what I copied from the excalidraw page.
  5. I try to resize any element and I can't change the sizes, only the text elements are resizable.

Expected behavior I was expecting to be able to resize all the elements, i.e. resize pictures, images, etc.

I was also hoping to be able to edit all elements but they are not editable.

Additional context P.S: Neither in obsidian nor in excalidraw.com I can edit the projects, many of the elements cannot be modified.

The downloaded projects should be fully editable but most of the text and elements are not editable...

Not a bug. when an image is anchored at 100% it is not possible to resize. You need to switch to markdown view and remove |100% from the image links under embedded files.

Whether download should be fully editable or not is up for discussion. It is more editable then a PNG, but I understand you cannot take elements apart.
