Single-player support? #4

I wonder if you are considering supporting the single-player experience of Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force.

The game's AmigaOS 4 porter, HunoPPC claims that his port that runs Single Player and Multiplayer natively on AmigaOS 4 of PowerPC based AmigaOne system is based on Linux version. Given the fact the Single Player natively runs on an unofficial system, how about porting the Single Player portion as well?

As far as I know there is no Free Software engine that supports the Elite Force single player campaign. I'm not planning to work on reimplementing the Elite Force single player executable.

The HunoPPC Amiga port page only shows video of Holomatch (multiplayer) and the download is stvoyhm_0.lha which contain an executable iostvoyHM.ppc. There doesn't appear to be single player support.

Can you clarify this, @hunoppc ?

What about this? https://github.com/UberGames/SP-Mod-Source-Code

Is that source code which is official possible to get single-player working with lilium-voyager? I'm not a coder nor programmer but could it be looked into if doable? I too would love it if single-player were to be added to this.

The license of Star Trek Voyager Elite Force single player mod source code released by Raven Software is not compatible with the GPLv2+ license used by the Quake 3 engine / Lilium Voyager. (They cannot legally be used together.)
