Some letters doesn't fit when polish language is chosen. #1

When polish language is chosen in user interface settings then some letters aren't shown properly e.g. letter "ó" in "Mój profil" is cut at the end. There are problems with other letters too (eg. "s" in "Dyskusje" under "SPOŁECZNOŚĆ" menu, "a" in "Znajomi" etc.). steam_pl

Hi ximian, as far as I know there is currently now way to tell Steam to increase letter spacing. This bug can only be workarounded by decreasing font sizes below 16 ... 15 is relatively ok, 14 is fine - but then fonts would be smaller than those in the default installation of Ubuntu.

Edit: I would say that every word preceding j is cut - and it may occur because the character is not transparent.

Well then, what would you suggest? A) Decrease font size and create another bug, more like inconsistency B) Keep the current bug C) Is there any other solution?

You're right. Every letter preceding "j" is cut. I also noticed that letter "g" is also slightly cut at the bottom. Until good solution found I think I can live with that.
