Given a top-level area of evaluation (e.g. Merges) if a repo passes all checks, add a badge that shows "Merges: Clean" and so on. Focus on the things that can drift, not ratchet. So MRs/PRs, issues, deployments are good badges to track keeping things clean. Readme and settings are ratchets, will rarely/never fall out. Maybe a summary badge too.
