I am seeing this issue as well with the flatpack but appimage is fine. Temporarily resolved when I restarted the laptop but its back again.
This is RHBZ #2193335 and Chromium #1442633, affecting all Chromium-based browsers and Electron-based applications. You can work around it by deleting the ~/.config/Zulip/GPUCache
directory. There’s not much else we can do until the upstream issue is fixed.
Thank you!
The workaround did not work for me. I am using the linux client.

It did not work for me either. Happy to provide any information (including logs) that may be of use.
In Discover you can uninstall Zulip AND remove all data. Then reinstall Zulip. It works now for me.
After I upgraded Fedora 38, all graphics in the zulip desktop would not display. The text in some of the menus does display. If my memory is correct, the upgrade involved mesa.
