Multiple tray icons

• Clear steps to reproduce the issue: In View submenu, click Toggle Tray Icon multiple times. It will generate more than 1 tray icon for same app.

@jainaman224 I can't reproduce this on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. What version of Ubuntu are you using? Also, do you see any errors in developer tools (Menu > View > Toggle dev tools for Zulip) when this happens?

@akashnimare I am using Ubuntu 17.10. There are no logs in console when I run this.

When I close the latest icon from tray every all are removed, whatever I do on other icons nothing happens.

Can you reproduce this when you have unread counts?

@akashnimare Yes, I am able to produce with unread counts and different unread counts.

I had faced this bug probably a month ago, but now not able to replicate it. @jainaman224 Are you on the latest version?

I just installed a fresh Ubuntu 19.04 and have this issue.

Try to refresh gnome shell, press ALT+F2 write 'r' then hit enter it will refresh gnome shell, It will work for most users though you may encounter this Gnome shell bug
