Discussion: which user data should go on the db?

Now that we're deploying to netlify 🎉 we can add user authentication and use netlify serverless functions to serve the user data.

This will allow us to:

• Prevent a user from getting the same film a second time
• Persist user wins and losses
• Allow user to pause a game and continue later

Before we start storing game data, we need to decide which fields would be useful and in which structure to store them.

Any suggestions are welcome, I'm still trying to figure out what data might be useful, so feel free to suggest

I believe the app can store the following:

• Some sort of anonymous user ID ( easier to build an app GDPR / LGPD compliant that way )

  • Game Settings (Difficulty and Dark Mode for now)

• Already played movies JSON
