Hi,
what do you mean by blender fails to find the add-on path ?
is it possible for you to send a blend file where you have the issue ?

Hope you get my screenshot. :)
I'm attaching my blender 2.64 file as well which I'm having troubles with the
animation. The animation in maratis doesn't look like it does in Blender.

Thank you,
for the model, the sword is invisible in Maratis because it is not assigned to
a vertex group,
if you assign the sword vertices to "Bone.017" it will be ok.
I will see if it's possible to add the bones enveloppe influence to the export
script.
For your error message, I'm not sure, but it looks like a problem with your
blender user path,
maybe a user autorisation problem on windows.

Well it works. :) I just installed blender on the same hard-drive as windows
and now it can add the maratis-exporter.
But for the swordsman the sword just bugs graphically, it's visible now but the
animation doesn't work.

You need to assign the sword vertices to Bone.017 only in the vertex group.
To have the right preview in Blender turn off bone envelopes in the armature
modifier :
