Can't Open Any Saved Models #57

Closed kpurdy13 closed 1 year ago

Hello,

Mac user here, Mac updated to Venture 13 last night. Yesterday I had no issue with this, but now, when I open Amua and go to "open recents" there is nothing there. When I go to "open model" and click documents, the documents folder is empty, I can't navigate to the folders where I saved my models. I tried moving Amua Jar into the folder with my models, but that didn't seem to work either. Have tried to re-install Amua with no luck there either. Was in the middle of a project, so I'm a bit desperate here.

Sorry to hear you are having trouble! This sounds like a Mac permissions issue with the Documents folder. Have you tried creating a new folder under the home directory and moving your models and the Amua jar in there?

Hi Dr. Ward,

Thanks so much for your quick response.

I just tried this, but I actually can't move my amua model files (model.amua files) into a new folder in my home folder as I get this attached error. So I'm not super sure how to accomplish this to try this.

It is still working on my old Mac, so I wonder if there is something wrong with the most recent Mac update that is causing the issue?

Best, Kaylynn

I don't see an error message attached. Do you want to try send it to me directly: zward@hsph.harvard.edu

Launching Amua with the Terminal seems to solve this problem on a Mac
