Background correction with noobsb #159

Open CGerhauser opened 2 months ago

Hi, I have previously used the noobsb background correction method on EPIC array data. For a manuscript revision including a classifier for breast cancer, we need to process an additional dataset. Now I realized that noobsb is no longer available. Would it be possible to include noobsb back as an option for background correction? Thank you!

Hi, sorry I am currently struggling to find time to reimplement and test noobsb in the new SigDF infrastructure. If you need it for reproducibility, you can revert back to version 1.10 or 1.8. But thanks for the reminder.

Hi Wanding, Thank you for your kind response. I tried to revert back to the older versions, but then ran into problems with Experimental hub and missing annotation files. Other people reported these problems already. I will try more. But it would be great if you could reimplement noobsb into the new SigDF infrastructure. All the best and thank you, Clarissa

Hi Wanding, I was wondering whether you meanwhile found the time to reimplement noobsb into the new Sesame SigDF infrastructure. It would be very important for a resubmission of a manuscript. Thank you and all the best, Clarissa
