Fix linux build and #212 #219

Bumps the version number of scala-swing in scala/build.sbt to fix #212 , and adjusts the Linux buildscript to work with current Scala on a clean install.

So I expected to make a separate pull request for the latter two commits, because they're not critical, but when I tried, GitHub just appended them to the open PR.

They're fine though, unless I missed a reason not to just bump all dependencies to the latest version (ec82088), or clean the build directory before rebuilding (b0ca955). Still builds and performs correctly on my machine.
