Poor sharpness #478

Hello. May be you can help. Scanner works good but on some phones we have trouble with sharpness: image Cameras on these phones works fine. Don't you know what's the reason? P.S. forgot to write - we used Demo link for test.

Same problem with our application. Does not focus when small QR code ist held close so it is big enough. And das not read the same QR code when it is so further away that the camera focuses.

Camera API is very limited, I have no idea what could be done to resolve that. Any suggestions?
