1. To which tool/application/daemon will this feature apply?

ddlscan within Tungsten Replicator

2. Describe the feature in general

Currently there are MySQL-focused templates that translate MySQL DDL into Hive. 

Oracle templates that make the same translation from Oracle tables into Hive 
are required.

3. Describe the feature interface

4. Give an idea (if applicable) of a possible implementation

Update/modify existing templates

5. Describe pros and cons of this feature.

5a. Why the world will be a better place with this feature.

Proper Oracle to Hive DDL support to make replication easier

5b. What hardship will the human race have to endure if this feature is
implemented.

Limited Oracle support for replicating into Hadoop

Won't make it to 3.0.0, but there's a possibility for 3.0.1 (CT 3.0) - adding 
it to strategy too.
