[Bug]: gpt4 unexpected behavior, first index is often blank

Issue

there was commit from 3 weeks ago to liberate gpt3.5. One of the functionalities added was to strip the first line of of choice.text. GPT4 is having similar issues, and I think could use some attention if the fix is applicable for GPT4 as well. I can see the translations in the console, but they are not being passed on, and my images are being written to with blank text masks. Sometimes there are no translations at all.

GPT3.5 works fine.

Here's part of the logic under question:
