Thanks for reaching out! I cannot undertake to seed a Chinese-French dictionary myself.
Are you aware of CFDICT? It is another dictionary related to CEDICT (or possibly originally derived from it). I am not sure how actively it is maintained, but it contains 54k entries and it is available for download at the link below. If I'm right it is shared under a Creative Commons license.
From what I know, early version of this CFDICT was discretely seeded with google translate to create a mass effect without telling the contributors. That's why it did a deep dive few years back (120k -> 40k), they removed those. They have an habit of misleading statements for marketing purposes. So I don't feel comfortable with nor trust their current quality statement.
I got 3000 entries myself.
I know an academic who has 20,000 entries, I could recontact them.
Format is to change and can't do in coming month, but could by this summer.
Would that be useful ?
Note: I'am from the Commons Stroke Order Project, and arrived here via MakeMeAHanzi.
